Brain-Building Toys

Around 3 to 4 months, your baby is learning to reach, grab, and pass toys from hand to hand. Watching these new skills develop is so exciting!

Offer variety

Give your baby safe objects with different textures, colors, sounds, and shapes so they can explore with all their senses.

Everyday items count

Some of your baby's favorite "toys" will be things you already have. You don't need to buy a lot.

Good toys for this age

Lightweight rattles, soft toys, squeaky rubber toys, teething rings, and activity mats.

Think safety

Everything will end up in your baby's mouth, so make sure toys are safe to chew and too big to choke on.
