Go for a Nature Walk
Any walk can be a nature walk! You don't need to go to the woods. A stroll around the block is full of things to see and talk about.
Notice the seasons
Point out new flowers, changing leaves, or falling snow.
Use all five senses

Talk about what you see, hear, smell, and feel, like birds singing, rough bark, or cool wind.
Talk about everything
Animals, plants, people, rocks, even the weather. Sing as you walk, or while you get ready to go.
Snap some photos
Take pictures of interesting things so you can look at them and talk about them together later.
