Collaborate with us
NurturePA offers free, text-based peer support to mothers from pregnancy through their child's fifth birthday. We grow stronger through partnerships with health systems, community organizations, funders, and policymakers who share our belief that every mom deserves support. Read on to see some of the potential ways we can work together.

Ways to work with us
Choose the path that fits your organization:
Refer families to NurturePA
Health systems, home visiting programs, and county agencies can connect the mothers they serve to a peer supporter by text.
Partner on policy and research
Legislators, universities, and advocacy coalitions: join us in strengthening support for moms, from evaluation partnerships to Medicaid reimbursement for peer support.
Invite us to your event
Hosting a baby shower, family day, or community fair? We'd love to join you, table, and meet the moms in your community.
Feature our experts
Invite our leaders and peer supporters to speak at your conference, panel, or training, or to share perspective with your newsroom.
Fund or co-fund our work
Foundations and corporate partners can invest in peer support for moms across Pennsylvania, on their own or alongside other funders with shared goals.
Become a peer supporter
Are you a mother who wants to support other moms? Join our team of peer supporters and make a difference from your phone.

Outreach & Enroll
Match & Welcome
Parents sign up through hospitals, providers, county programs, or on their own. Our program is open to anyone who is pregnant or raising a child under 5 across your county. We customize outreach methods to support your community's unique needs and assets.
Each parent is paired with a trained, supervised volunteer mentor mom. The program is confidential, free to access, available in any language, and judgment-free — moms never meet their mentors in person, and they only share what they're comfortable sharing.
3
Exchange Text Messages
Mentors check in regularly, answer everyday questions, lend emotional support, and share age-appropriate child development activities and local resources. Moms are welcome to text any time, day or night, and their dedicated mentor will respond within 24 hours.
4
Support & Connect
Mentors screen for postpartum depression and anxiety eight times in the first year and connect parents to clinical care, county services, and community organizations when they need more. We also connect new moms to other local moms seeking community.
